Jacobs Brothers make UK footballing history
On the 27th April 2010,the four Jacobs brothers made UK footballing history when Devon,Keaghan,Kyle & Sheldon played together for Livingston FC against Albion Rovers FC in a Scottish Third Division League Match. This is the first and only occasion in UK professional football where four brothers have been on the same football pitch,playing for the same football team.

THE JACOBS BROTHERS
Devon joined Livington FC on leaving school and then made his debut for the club against Montrose FC,he was part of the Livingston teams that won the Scottish 3rd & 2nd Division Championships in successive seasons. Devon then left Livingston to join Stirling Albion FC where he played for a season before signing for Berwick Rangers FC. For season 2013/14 Devon was selected in the SPFL League Two team of the year which is chosen by fellow professionals. Devon has joined top junior club Kelty Hearts FC for this season.
Keaghan joined the youth set up at Livingston FC at thirteen years old and came through the system before making his debut at eighteen years old in November 2007 against Alloa Athletic FC,he was then part of the Livingston teams that won the Scottish 3rd & 2nd Division Championships in successive seasons. Keaghan has now amassed over 200 appearances for the club developing into a talented midfielder. Keaghan had a successful 2014/15 season at Livingston as part of Petrofac Cup Winning team plus winning two of the three club Player of the Year Awards. Keaghan has joined South African club Bidvest Wits for 2015/16.
Kyle joined Livingston youth system at fifteen years old and joined full time after leaving school,then made his debut in 2009 against Forfar Athletic,he was then part of the Livingston team that won the third & second division championships in successive seasons,winning Players Young Player of the Year during season in second division and eventually played over one hundred games for the club. At end of 2012/13 season Kyle left to join Kilmarnock,where he played for six months,before rejoining Livingston. Kyle was a key player in Livingston winning the 2014/15 Petrofac Cup and his winning goal on last match of season enabled Livingston to remain in the same division. Kyle has signed for Queen of the South for season 2015/16.
Sheldon joined Livingston from school and made his debut against Albion Rovers in the historic game with his three brothers,he then played in Livingston Third Division Championship winning team before deciding to leave full time football to attend University and concentrate on achieving a degree in Business and HRM. Sheldon attended Stirling University and played for the university football team. Sheldon received his degree in 2014 and is now pursuing a full time career in Purchasing.
